In 1868 Byron Fisher Goff and Francis N. Daugherty moved their family from Ladoga, Montgomery County, Indiana to Valley Brook Twp, Osage County, Kansas. Their three youngest children Celia, Homer and Andrew were born in Osage County, Kansas. Byron was a Wagon Maker, Carpenter and farmer. In 1888 they moved to Meeker, Rio Blanco County, Colorado where their son William Harry had settled.
