I am interested in any information on the family of Joseph Gideon Price. The family came to Kansas in 1857 from Walshville, ILL

Joseph Price was a surveyor and carpenter by trade and served as a Township trustee, Justice of the Peace, and school teacher in the Liztown (Elizabethtown) community.

John Henry Jones served as a minister in Kansas from 1879 to 1912. From 1897 to 1902 he was the presiding elder in the Fort Scott district. He also served in Chanute, Parsons, Emporia, Independence, Iola, and Paola.
