Gospel According to Matthew

CE'PTU XX. Chapter 20.
OTI sI okumauwun shpumuk e'shnakwuk ke'cwa nInI katpe'ntuk wikwam, kasakuk kukishie'p e'winokanat wamice'witakwcIn, shiw siwnokamshu ktukanuk. 1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
20:2 Pic cI kanat ni makicIwincIn, nkot shInIn e'kishkiwuk, okikatonan shi siwnokamshu ktukanuk. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
20:3 IcI e'kimacit cI, e'iaptu naokwe'nuk icI e'kiwapmat pakansIncIn e'nipwunIt, ke'ko e'pwamiktumnIt shiw e'tshitatuk. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
20:4 IcI otI okinan. Shiak ke' kinwa, shiw siwnokamshI ktukanuk, ipi we'kwe'ntuk ke'shI wunuk, i ke'shIminukon. IcI e'kimaciwat. 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
20:5 MinI Kimaci naokwe'nuk, ipi kaiaptosanuk icI nasap kishIcke'. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
20:6 NkotupukIn e'pwamshu pkIshmok kishie'wak, ipi okimkawan anIt e'ni powe'nIt ke'ko e'pwamiktumnIt, icI otI okinan, We'kwnicI shotI we'cnipoie'k ne'ie'kIn ke'ko e'pwamiktme'k? 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
20:7 OtI cI okikon, osam cowIiI nInI nokankosinan. IcI otI okinan, Shiak, ke'kinwa shi siwnokamshI ktukanuk; we'we'nIcI ke'pite'ntakwtokwe'n kuke'ie'nawa. 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
20:8 PamacI pic, e'nmupkonianuk, te'pe'ntuk, i siwnokamshu ktukan otI okinan, ni pmitakaimIn; Ntom ki makice'wicuk mish ke'shkitowat, shkwe'iak o kapiat tpa‘o ne'tum icI o ne'tum kapiat shkwe'iak tpa‘o. 8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
20:9 Pic kapishiawat kikanokancuk nkot tpukIn e'pwamshI pkIshmok, e'tshawat kiminak nkot shInIn. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
20:10 Pic cI kapiIshawat ne'ptum, kanokancuk wusimI nkuminkomIn kine'ntum wuk. winwa ke' nasap kiminak e'tshawat nInI nkot shInIn. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
20:11 IcI kakIshminkowat, okimto‘mawan me'noshuwe'psIncIn ni nInwun, we'tu wikwamnIncIn. 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
20:12 OtI kikItwuk, KotI shkwe'iak kimikce'wik, mtIno nkot tpukIn, icI kin kiie'i naoshiImIn ninancI, wi nkipi ke'ie'kwsImIn, shi e'wiskate'k e'kishkiwuk. 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
20:13 Okinkwe'twancI ninkit, otI okinan, Nikan, cosuwi kimiashtotosnon, conukwI kiwnwacisi e'witponan, nkot shInIn? 13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
20:14 OtapnIn te'pe'ntumIn, ipi macin. Nkumina ote' shkwe'iak pie'mikce'wit kin kashuminan. 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
20:15 ConI owunse'non nin e'wi totman e'shte'aian te'pe'ntuman? InI kshkishuk we'cmiashu we'psinkuk, osam nin e'mnoshuwe'pse'an? 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
20:16 Kisu shkwe'iak kne'tmIswuk, ipi ki ne'tum shkwe'iak; anwu mce'shntomak nIshce' pke'ci we'napcIkaswuk, 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
20:17 Cisus cI e'nmapiskat e'ishat Cinose'numuk, okimacinan ni mtatso shItnish ke'knomowacIn, icI e'nmInshIke'osawat e'nmIshiawat, otI okinan. 17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
20:18 PInI, ktIshamIn ipI Cinose'ne'muk, icI We'kwIsmukot NInwun kupkItna shi kcI me'matmocuk ipi ki we'npie'ke'ncIn, icI ke'cI pkIte'nmawat e'winsIckasnIt. 18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
20:19 OkupkItnumwawancI, ni me'mataosIncIn e'winaptotwanIt, ipi e'wipsItie'wanIt, ipi e'wiskakwukasnIt, icI nso kishkuk minI kupsukwi. 19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
20:20 IcI e'kipie'naskakot niw kie'iwan ni Se'piti nicansIn, okipie'wice'okon ni okwIsIn, e'pie' owuciwkwnItakot e'ntuwe'ntumakot ke'ko. 20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
20:21 OtI cI okinan, We'kwnicI ne'twe'ntumIn? OtI cI okinan, Ne'num, kotI nish nkwIsuk, e'wicipitupwat, nkot kte'pniwnak, ipi o nkot knumciwnak, shiw ktokumauwunuk. 21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
20:22 Cisus cI okinkwe'twan, otI kikIto, CosI kuke'ntusinawa ne'totmoie'k, KtakshkItonawanI e'wimnukwe'ie'k shi mnukwackInuk, nin watshumnukwe'ian, ipi e'wi kcitapie'nkoie'k i kcitapie'nwe'wun, e'shIkcitapie'nkoian. OtI ci okinawan ntakshkItomInsI. 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
20:23 IcI otI okinan. We'we'nIsI kamnukwe'nawa i nmInkwackIn, ipi kukcitapie'nkom, i kcitapie'nwe'wun e'sh kcitapie'nkoian, icI ie'k e'wi cipitupie'k shi nte'pniwnak, ipi numciwnak coin nin i ntpe'ntusin e'wimikwian, kisie'k kuminak e'twaknukwacIn Nos. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
20:24 Pic cI ki mtatso kanotmoat, okinsItawe'nmawan, ni nish we'wikane'itIncIn. 24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
20:25 Cisus cI okintoman e'ciIt, otI kikIto, Kuke'nmawaksI ki okumak ki Me'mataose'cuk, otI tpakwnukwan; ipi cIki ke'cne'ntakwse'cuk okIcnapne'nkwan. 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
20:26 Cocu wi kinwa a knomkIsnon; we'kwe'ntuk kinwa ke'kcine'ntakwsukwe'n, oie'o, nocma win kupmitakwa. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
20:27 We'kwe'ntukI kinwa ke'okumaokwe'n; nocma win kupmitakwa. 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant?
20:28 Ie'inomkIt ke'cwa We'kwIsmukot NInwun e'ki pwapie' pmitwut; mtIno e'kipie' pmitake't, ipi e'wimikoe't, opmatsuwun e'witpuke't ni mane'ncIn. 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
20:29 Pic cI e'nmumaciwat Cunikoiuk; ke'cmaoce'tincIn, okipmInashkakon, 29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
20:30 PInI, nish ke'kie' pikwancIn nInwun, e'cipitupnIt cikimie'w kanotake'wat, ni CisusIn e'pmose'nIt kinotaksik, otI kikItwuk, Shuwe'nmIshInak O Te'pe'nmiak, We'kwIsmukwiIn Te'pIt. 30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
20:31 KicI maoce'ticIk okiknuumowawan, e'wi tokmupinIt; wusimIcI kinotaksik otI kikItwuk, Shuwe'nmIshInak O Te'pe'nmiak We'kwIsmukwiIn Te'pIt. 31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
20:32 IcI Cisus tokum, e'kinipwIt, ipi okintomat, otI okinan, We'kwnicI pe'kose'nmie'k, i watotonkon? 32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
20:33 OtI cI okikon, Te'pe'nmiak, notI nshkishkonanIn e'winsakwnImIn. 33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
20:34 IcI Cisus okishuwe'nman, ipi okitaknumwan, niw shkishkonIn, icI papuk e'kintawapwat, ipi okipmInashkakon. 34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
