CE'PTU XIII. | CHAPTER 13. |
---|---|
IWPSHI i e'kishkiwuk Cisus kisakum wikwuamuk kiwIcipitupI cikcukum. | 1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. |
13:2 KikcImane'k, maoce'ticuk, shi e'ciInIt, icI e'kiposIt napkwanuk e'kicipitupIt, icI caye'k ki maoce'ticuk ki nipwik cikcukumik. | 2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. |
13:3 IcI e'kinat cake'ko iacimonIn otI kItwak; PInI pe'mswe'we'pne'ke't e'nmamacit e'wuswe'we'pne'ke't. | 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; |
13:4 IcI win kaswe'we'pnuk, anIt, minkanIn kipkIsnInI cik mie'wuk, icI pIne'‘shiuk e'kipie'micwat. | 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: |
13:5 AnIt kipkIsnInI sInkukik, kwe'ckacI pwamane'k ne'kwukI ke'iapIcI, kie'nup kipie'sakwe'ton osam cokwIc kimane'snon ne'kwukI. | 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: |
13:6 IcI kisIs kapie'mokuk e'ki-kishakite'k osam co kiw oke'pkiwse'non, icI kaocInpikwe'te'k. | 6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. |
13:7 AnIt kI kipukse'non cI cukInIkaoshukik, icI kiw cukInIkaoshisuk e'pie'sakwe'wat ikikpopie'mkIshkanawa cI. | 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: |
13:8 NiiwcIie'k, anIt kipukse'non, e'cIwunuk kI kipie'tomkIt micum, anIt nkotwak tso wusimI, ipi anIt nkotwatsomtInI wusimI, ipi anIt nswapituk wusimI. | 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. |
13:9 We'kwe'ntuk we'ta‘okakwe'n e'wiuotnk nocma win okInotan. | 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. |
13:10 IcI ni ke'knomowacIn kipie'n, ipi okipie'kon, TacishIna we'ciactumwItwa ni iacmonIn? | 10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? |
13:11 IcI okinkwe'twan, ipi otI okinan, Anwucuke' kiminkom, kinwa e'wike'ntume'k pwake'ntakwuk shiw okumauwun shpumuk kishkok, winwacIwico minasik. | 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. |
13:12 We'kwe'nshutuksI e'ikwe'n kuminawak wusimI mce'sh cI oke'iIn; we'kwe'nshutuk pwaiIt win kaotapnumwa ke'iapI ie'iIt. | 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. |
13:13 IwsI ie'i we'cwitmokwa notI iacimonIn osam e'ntawapwat cowapsik, ipi e'notmowat notake'sik; coke'pshI e'wi nsItake'wat. | 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. |
13:14 IwsI i we'cte' pwe'mkuk wiacimowun Ise'us, otI kikIto, We'cnotmuk ktaocinotanawa, ipi cowike', ktansItake'sim, ipi ntowapuk, ktawapke'm, coke' ktansItwunake'sim. | 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: |
13:15 KotIsI nishInape'k ote'iwan mukwitmomkItne' e'pic miante'nuk; ipi oto‘wkawan iapie'tsimkItnI e'winotake'wat, ipi kie'pikwe'nwuk e'kwtumwat e'wiwapke'wat, w‘shkishkowan ipi anInotake'k shiwtokawak, ipi ansItake'k, shiw ote'iwak iwcI taocI kwe'kapowawat, icI tacI ne'se'ukwa. | 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. |
13:16 Kinwa cI shuwe'ntakwton, kshkishkowan e'ntowapimkuk, ipi kta‘okawan e'notake'mkuk; | 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. |
13:17 We'we'nI ktInum, Mane'k, iacimocuk ipi me'noshuwe'psIcuk, okintuwe'ntanawa e'wiwaptumwat notI, kawaptume'k, ipi cocu okiwaptusinawan, ipi e'winotmoat nwatme'konIn, cocu okinotsinawan. | 17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. |
13:18 Notmok, cI iacimowIn, o e'swe'we'pnike't. | 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. |
13:19 Pic wIiI noatkIn o kikitowun okumauwn, ipi pwansItuk, icI e'piat me'iashuwe'psIt icI e'mshInuk iw kaswe'we'pnukate'nuk shi ite'‘inuk, osIie'o kaotapnuk kwe'minkanIn ci kimie'wuk. | 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. |
13:20 OtIsI ie'o kaiIt kwe'minkan sInkukik ke'cwashIna nwatuk i kikitowun, ipi e'nup e'nciwe'nmot, e'wtapnuk. | 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; |
13:21 Cowike' oce'pkiwsi win nomukcie'k ikwamsI, kishpIncie'k kwtuke'ntumwun tanake', miashtotatwIn ocIpsukwimkuk osam o kikitowun, pama shkIc, comnwe'ntusi. | 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. |
13:22 Winsuke' kaiIt kwe'minkan me'kwe' kcIkinIkaoshukik, winsIo pe'stuk kikitowun e'wtme'ntuk, shotI kik, ipi wie'shta‘wun tpe'nwe'osuwun, ipi okikpopie'mkIshkanawa i kikitowun, cocI kiwcI micmaosi. | 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. |
13:23 WinsI o kaiIt kwe'minkan e'cIowuntunuk ne'kowukik oie'o nwatuk i kitowun, ipi ne'stotuk ke'iapI macmowIt, anIt nkotwat tso wusimI ipi anIt nkotwatsomtInI wusimI, ipi anIt nswaptuk wusimI. | 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. |
13:24 MinI nkot iacimowIn, okipkItnumwan, otI kItwak okumauwun shpumuk e'ne'ntakwuk ke'cwa nInI kapmIswe'we'pnuk we'onItnuk kwe'minkan okItkanuk. | 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: |
13:25 NIshcI me'kwa nInwun, e'ie'npanIt me'iane'nmukwocIn, kipie'n, icI e'kiswe'we'pnuk mIcimishkwIn e'cIte'nuk pkwe'shkInshkik, icI e'kimacit. | 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. |
13:26 Pic cI kapie'sakwe'k, icI kipie' micImowun ie'ipic, kipie'nakwton niw mIcImishkwIn. | 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. |
13:27 IcI ni opmitakaimIn shiw wikwamuk kipie'n, okipie'kon, Te'pe'nmiak, ConukwnI, kiswe'pnIsin we'onuk minkan shi kItkanuk, TInipinukwe' we'cpiamkuk mIcImishkwIn? | 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? |
13:28 OtI cI okinan me'iane'nmItsI otI, kitotum OpumitakaimIn cI, otI okikon; ConI kitonwacisi e'wishiaiak, ipi e'wimaotInmak? | 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? |
13:29 OtI cI okinon, Coin me'ic e'ie' maotInme'k ni mIcimishkwIn kitapkocwe'pitonawan, ke'i pkwe'shkIn. | 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. |
13:30 Nocma ne'ish kumace'kinon, pama cI pic, wima‘otonkate'k, otI nkInak, maotonke'cuk, wimaotonmok, iw ne'tum ni mIcimishkwIn, icI ke'cIsusuptoie'k e'wicaksume'k; icI ie'k kmaotInanawa mpukwe'shkInum, kupitkItonawa micIma o kumkok. | 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. |
13:31 MinI nkot iacimowIn okiwitmoan, otI cI kIto shpumuk okumauwun ke'cwa nish e'opukomnanwuk iukwan waskuk minkan; nInI kaotapInuk e'kiswe'we'pInuk okItkanuk. | 31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: |
13:32 Iw sI ie'i mamwe' kacinoiak caye'k e'tsuk kwe'minkanIn, pic cInIsh kakishkuk mamwe' mshamkuk caye'k mishkwIn ipi ke'pie'mtukowI icI ki pne'‘shiuk pe'pamsacuk pie'pkIshnok shiw e'otukwnowuk e'winpawat. | 32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. |
13:33 MinI nkot iacimowIn, oki witmowan okumauwun shpumuk kishkok; e'shnakwuk ke'cwa okwe' opce'skIn kaotapnuk, icI e'kikitot nsotupukInuk napani nashcI caye'k e'ope'ce'shkanuk. | 33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. |
13:34 Caye'ksI notI Cisus kiwitmowan, maoce'tincIn ni iacimowInIn, icI ke' iacimowIn pwaiactuk cokiknonasin. | 34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: |
13:35 IwcI i te'pwe'ie'ntumwun kakitot nakanacimot otI kItwak; NkInsakwnan nton, niwiacmowunIn nincI nkukIt niw katIpackate'k kItwunIn, pic e'oshkukiwuk. | 35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. |
13:36 IcI Cisus kimace'nashkawan, maoce'tincIn e'kipitike't wikwamuk, ipi ke'knomowacIn kipie'naskakon, otI kItwun, WitmoshInak, iacimowIn iacIkate'k ni mIcimishkwIn shi ktukanuk. | 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. |
13:37 IcI okinkwe'twan, ipi okinan, WinsI o e'se'we'pnuk we'onItnuk kwe'minkan winsI o We'kwIsmukot NInwun. | 37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; |
13:38 Iw ktukan i ie'i kI; ipi we'onuk minkan kiw ie'ki we'nicansumcuk shiw Okumauwunuk ni ce'ie'k mIcimishkwIn kiw ie'ki we'nicansum kowacIn ni me'ashuwe'psIncIn. | 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; |
13:39 IcI me'iane'nke't kapie'swe'pnuk oie'o mIcImIne'to; pic cI maotonmuk iw ie'i wishkwakiwuk; ipi cI ki kamaotInke'cIk ki ie'ki mshInwe'k. | 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. |
13:40 E'shmaoton kate'k, niw mIcimishkwe'n, ipi e'cakse'kate'k shkote'k iw sI ke'showe'puk wishkwakiwuk. | 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. |
13:41 We'kwIsmukot NInwun okupie'nokanan omIshInIwe'mIn, icI ke'cI maotInmowat shiw otokumauwunuk cake'ko nIshka‘we'mkukIn, ipi niw me'iashtotmoncIn. | 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; |
13:42 IcI ke'cI pukinawat shkote'k kposke'nuk iwcI shi e'tnIte'mok ipi e'tnwe'iapte'shnuk. | 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. |
13:43 KiwcI mInoshuwe'pse'cIk, kawasok ke'cwa kisIs, shi Oswan otokumauwunuk. We'kwe'ntuk we'ta‘okakwe'n e'wi notake't, nocima knotake'. | 43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. |
13:44 MinI okumauwun shpumuk, ke'cwa ne'n--kwIt kcItupInwe'osawun e'kIckate'k ktukanuk; pic o nInI kamkuk okukiton e'pic nciwe'nmot maciwak, icI e'wutawe't cake'tot; icI e'kishpIne'tot i ktukan. | 44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. |
13:45 MinI shpumuk okumauwun ke'cwa ne'ntakwIt tawe'wunInI pe'pantowaptuk we'anItnuk MikIs SIniIn. | 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: |
13:46 I pic cI kamkuk nkot MikIs sIn ke'cmIskIte'nuk, e'shiat icI e'wutawe't caye'k, e'tot icI e'kishpIne'tot. | 46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. |
13:47 MinI shpumuk okumauwun ke'cwa ne'ntakwIt sup, kapukicikate'k shi kiukumik e'kimaotonat cak e'shnakwsIncIn. | 47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: |
13:48 Pic cI kamoshkIne'nIt e'kiw tapInawat cik pie'k; icI e'cipitupwat e'kiwe'napmawat we'wnIsnIncIn e'kisawat mkukok; me'iansIncIn cIie'k okiwe'pnawan. | 48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. |
13:49 Iw sI ke'showe'puk wishkwakiwuk mshInwe'k kupie'k, okupkie'pnawan ke'kie'patsIncIn e'ciiInIt ni me'noshuwe'psIncIn. | 49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, |
13:50 IcI ke'cI pukinawat shkote'k, kuposke'nuk shiw cI e'tnIte'mok, ipi e'tnwe'iapte'shnuk. | 50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. |
13:51 Cisus cI otI okinan, KinIstotanawanI notI cake'ko? OtI cI okinawan; E', Te'pe'nmiak. | 51 Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. |
13:52 OtI ci okinan e'tshowat, we'npie'ke't e'knomocIk shpumuk okumauwunuk iwsI e'ne'ntakwsIt nInI te'pe'ntuk wikwam okipie'sakcotonIn otIpnIwe'oso‘nIn, we'shkiamkuk, ipi ke'te'ianuk. | 52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. |
13:53 IcI otI kashuwe'puk, pic Cisus, kakishwawituk notI iacimonIn, icI e'kinmamacit. | 53 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence. |
13:54 IcI win kapiat e'citnukie't okiknomowan shiw otInume'okumkomwak, okimamkate'nmawan, ipi kikItwuk; TInipicI otI nInI we'tnuk npwakawun, ipi notI kcItotmonIn. | 54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? |
13:55 ConIwi otI oshuke'wunInI okwIsun? conIwi okie'iIn shInkasin Me'ni? ipi wikane'iIn Ce'ms, ipi Cosus ipi Sayman, ipi Cote's? | 55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? |
13:56 Ipi omIse'iIn conI caye'k kwitkie'mkosinanuk? TInipicI we'tnuk otI nInI cake'ko? | 56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? |
13:57 Okinshke'nmawancI Cisus cI otI okinan; nakanacimot coi pwawinwanasi mtInoie'k e'tnukie't ipi owikwamuk. | 57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. |
13:58 Cowike' win kimataototsi shiw osam co okite'pwe'takwsin. | 58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. |
